Costco members can make several changes to their membership online, such as:
- Renew the membership
- Upgrade to an Executive Membership
- Add or change a Household cardholder
- Update the address, phone number and email
- Change communication preferences
- Add an Account Manager
- Add or remove membership Auto Renewal
- Update Auto Renewal payment method
- Add Business Affiliates (Business Members Only)
To get started, visit your Account Details and verify your membership. Or, verify your membership at a Costco membership counter.
For a legal name change, please visit your local Costco membership counter and present your new government-issued photo ID. At that time, one of our employees can assist with updating your information and provide you with a new membership card.
If you want to downgrade your Executive Membership or remove a Business Affiliate, please visit the membership counter of your local Costco. Or, call Member Services at 1-800-774-2678.
