★★☆☆☆

The second you step foot inside this airport you are hit with an overwhelming smell of sewer much like Charles de Gaule in Paris. So it must be a French inheritance? Then you roam and follow passengers bc don't expect any signs or direction. Once you arrive at passport counter it's chaotic .... I haven't visited other under developed countries so cannot compare it to anything else except that it's not as bad as CDG bc in paris in addition to being the worse airport they also steal your stuff right at security check. So yes tunis carthage is dirty and unorganized but at least they don't steal your stuff

★☆☆☆☆

The worst airport ever, very rude custom agents when I was departing and after the passport control o was stopped by a very rude custom agent who spoke to me in French which I don’t Speak and he started searching my carry on bags even my underwear which I found very disrespecting when I told him to stop he was pointing for money if I had money in my bags I showed him my purse and he still went through it looking at my credit cards and searching my purse.
Another bad thing they don’t accept Tunisian dinars to pay at duty free not even to buy a water you have to pay in Euro and pay a very high price , the exchange banks don’t accept to exchange the currency to any other currency so basically they want you to buy their currency and when you leave you are stuck with their currency if they think I would come back again they are wrong I would rather spend my money somewhere else and not this horrible country
